On December 1, 2023, Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) for not-for-profit operators that are interested in operating the child care program in Mission, BC - opening Spring of 2024. Total number of spaces: 24 (Infant Toddler - 8, 3-5 childcare -16)

Métis Nation British Columbia envisions an Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) system in which Métis children and families throughout British Columbia are provided with culturally relevant, self-empowering ELCC programs and supports that focus on children and families first. Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) is seeking Not-For Profit Organizations that have the required resources and experience to provide high-quality, Métis specific child care programs to support this vision across the lifespan - beginning at birth.
