Holi (Dolyatra, Doul Jatra, Basanta-Utsav) is the Hindu festival colors that celebrates the triumph of good over evil, good harvest, and fertility.
Hola Mohalla, a three-day festival celebrated by Sikhs in BC and around the world. Hola Mohalla celebrates community, tradition and valour. People gather to pray, listen to traditional ballads called dhadi vaaran, and partake in langar, a free communal meal. Many will also participate in demonstrations of Gatka martial arts.
