The Make a Future – Careers in BC Education site is powered by applytoeducation.com.Therefore, if you have an existing account with them, you can use your username and password to log into www.makeafuture.ca. Candidates for teaching positions in Mission must have completed their Bachelor of Education degree and possess or be eligible for membership with the British Columbia College of Teachers.
Although we would like to consider all interested applicants, we can only consider qualified candidates who submit a complete application package containing the following:
- A letter of application specifying the job posting number of the position applied for.
- A chronological resume (most recent information first) outlining your education, experience and professional development.
- A list of names, phone numbers (and email addresses if applicable) of three professional references who have supervised you in the past i.e. your most recent Principals/Supervisors.
- Photocopies of university transcripts, certificates, diplomas, trade certificates or other post-secondary education as applicable.
Alternatively, applicants may submit their resume package to our district human resources department by fax, mail, or in person. Please note that candidates who choose to apply on Make a Future do not need to fill out a paper application or mail/courier any information directly to the District office.
