School Closures / Consolidation 2010-11
The Board of Education will undertake a school closure review process for Durieu and Deroche elementary schools after accepting a report entitled “Schools Considered for Potential Closure” at its regular meeting on November 16, 2010. Click here to view the report.
The consultation process is designed to obtain and provide information to the Board prior to its deliberations and final decisions on February 22, 2011. The final date for written submissions to the Board is February 8, 2011. A schedule for community and school meetings providing opportunities for input from parents, staff and community members is outlined below.
